Description
Kawai EX PRO is a powerful and bright 9ft (276cm) concert grand piano that was usually found at the Kennedy Center in Washington DC. While working on this library, we worked closely with Lance Herring (this is our second attempt after AcademicGrand) and decided to give our project a new dimension by carefully recording this extraordinary instrument using 3 pairs of microphones to try to recreate this instrument as accurately as possible.
Features of the repack :
1. Repak made based on this distribution.
2. WAV files have been converted to ncw format (lossless compression), thanks to which the size has decreased by almost 2 times!
3. All samples are packed in nkx containers.
4. All patches have been modified: scripts have been rewritten, errors have been fixed. The emphasis is on functionality rather than beauty, as was the case in the original.
5. All controls are visible. Each parameter can be configured independently of the others.
6. The use of inappropriate samples has been corrected in the patches.
7. Samples with the same names are unlinked, so ALL patches can be resaved.
8. The structure of the library is reduced to that traditionally used with contact.
9. Added library background image.
10. A registry file has been created to add a library to the list of contact libraries (comments inside the file).
Installation features :
1. Copy or move the Kawai EX PRO folder to the directory where the rest of the contact’s libraries are located.
2. Open the Kawai EX PRO\Add Library.reg registry file in any text editor that supports Unicode
3. Edit it according to the comments inside, then save and add to the registry.
4. Open the KONTAKT and make sure the library appears in the list. If this does not happen, check the registry file again. After adding information to the registry again, be sure to restart the KONTAKT.
