Description : Sample library for the Hauptwerk organ emulator
Recently, in 2006-2007, organ builder Tomas Močnik built a new organ in the Church of Our Lady of Adergas in Velesovo, Slovenia. The instrument has 38 registers and one Cymbelstern register, called Glocklein. This place is one of the important pilgrimage churches in the area. The former monastery has been transformed into a spiritual center where groups or individuals can find refuge and spend days in silence and meditation, enjoying the surrounding beauty of nature and the giant mountains.
The organ builder Tomáš Mocnik lives in the nearby town of Cerklje, and so his Opus 14 in the Veles Church is a kind of his “showcase” instrument. It was built in a very traditional manner, inspired by the Thuringian Baroque organs, in particular the works of Zacharias Hildebrandt. The main manual is located in the center of the main body, the secondary one occupies its upper part. The pedal pipes are located behind the windlass of the main manual. The tracture is purely mechanical, it is well controlled, and provides good control.
