Description: Palindrome is a detailed sampler focused on experimental sound design.
Palindrome’s core concept is to combine four granular gridded samplers with complex modulation sources to facilitate the creation of varying sound effects and unusual instrumental patches.
The plugin’s main grid allows you to create custom paths that define the path of the playhead over time. This playback point moves along a user-defined path that matches the outputs of the samplers, which are smoothly transformed using a bilinear interpolation algorithm. Palindrome also features 8 user-defined modulation envelopes with multiple breakpoints that make it easy to create complex modulation shapes.
Palindrome is based on 4 granular samplers, which have been expanded with various new features in version 2.0. Each sampler includes a variety of sculpting options, most of which are viable modulation objects. In addition to this, each sampler has the ability to integrate up to two insert effects, which can also be assigned as modulation targets. Built-in effects include four types of filters, three types of distortion, ring modulation and delay.
At the center of Palindrome’s user interface is the construction grid. The grid is a diagram structure in which you draw up to 16 points that define the path of the playhead. The playhead’s grid coordinates will determine which sampler outputs are currently heard. As the playhead moves along the path and through the grid zones, Palindrome will seamlessly transition between the corresponding sampler outputs using a bilinear interpolation algorithm.
Installation :
1) Install the plugin.
2) Launch the plugin in your DAW, click on the “SELECT FOLDER” button and point to the folder (you can place the folder in any place convenient for you) “PALINDROME2_SAMPLES”.
