Color correction like a pro
At the heart of the DaVinci Resolve experience is the Color page, where you’ll learn how to make initial color corrections using Lift, Gamma, and Gain controls, as well as custom curves, while objectively assessing changes in the videoscope. You’ll then move on to targeted color correction using qualifiers, Power Windows, and the amazing Color Warper tool to give your photo even more pop. -
Audio editing and mixing
By going to the Fairlight page, you’ll learn how to properly organize your mix and perform basic audio editing tasks, such as cleaning up dialogue, restoring audio, and using Fairlight’s unique approach to copying and pasting audio clips using the play cursor. Plus, you’ll learn how to record voiceovers, create submixes, and record fade automation data using the mixer. - Create animated graphics
Fusion is a node-based compositing tool built right into Resolve 18. You’ll learn how to set up multiple trackers to stabilize a frame and how to clone unwanted elements in a frame. Once you’re comfortable with Fusion’s node compositing environment, you’ll learn how to animate a title and then track it to a moving object using another shot from your timeline.
