Description : Developed in collaboration with vintage synth specialist Bigtone Studios, The Legend is designed to accurately emulate one of the most famous vintage analog synths. In addition, numerous innovative improvements significantly increase its versatility.
Unprecedented Accuracy
Every component, from the Voltage Controlled Oscillators (VCO), the Voltage Controlled Filter (VCF) and the Voltage Controlled Amplifier (VCA), has been modeled with precision never before seen in software. The amplifier’s high-speed filters and envelopes, as well as the massive bottom section, have been carefully modeled – even the smallest effects such as temperature drift or power supply effects have been taken into account.
The most significant additions are unison and polyphonic modes, providing rich stereo sound as well as polyphonic playback. Built around a vectorized core, Legend is capable of synthesizing four voices for little more than the cost of a single voice, making it a high-performance analog modeling synthesizer plug-in.
The rear legend panel allows you to switch between two simulated versions, early and late. In addition, additional options allow you to fine-tune analog simulations and account for part tolerances commonly found in equipment. Key parameter ranges can be adjusted, as well as tuning, drift or saturation.
Another bonus feature of the Legend is its built-in effects, which include a high-quality delay and reverb unit. Both effects are synthesizer-specific and provide the right sound with just a few parameters each.
The Legend comes with 480 patches created by top sound engineers and sorted into categories such as Bass, Lead, SFX, and more.
