Description : Artists like Gray have taken the essence of pop music and combined it with the most advanced, innovative sound design from the EDM world. Our vision for Gray Vol.1 is to offer you access to every piece of sound design you need to break into this new hybrid genre and start creating some amazing hits.
We took a look at their most popular releases and uncovered some of their technology to recreate their synthetic sounds. In addition to recreating some of the classic Gray sounds, we have created some of our own sounds that we present in the sound design area. The 50 presets for SERUM consist of: 16 synth sounds, 7 basses, 4 FX patches, 6 leads, 11 pluks, 2 guitars, 2 arpeggios, 1 percussion and 1 sequencer. Each of these presets has all 4 macros assigned to key aspects of the sound, so you, as the producer, have complete control over what you want to do.
Secondly, we have created 35 presets for Massive: 8 basses, 8 synth sounds, 6 leads, 5 keyboards, 3 plucks, 2 chord sounds, 2 FX patches and 1 pad. The massive bass patches included in this pack bring the perfect balance of fat and warmth to your track – our favorite is “JaccBass”. We have also taken care of assigning macros in the Massive settings.
Using 85 presets for Serum and Massive, we have compiled 25 synthetic loops that can be used immediately. They are perfect when your ideas run dry and you need a fresh sip.
Then we made 25 loops of vocal inserts. These sounds are absolutely essential to provide hook and add additional innovation to any production. We have included all 25 stitches in worked and unfinished form so you can start from scratch and work them exactly the way you like.
The importance of quality and genre drum sounds is often overlooked by producers. So we also included 75 drum samples and 25 drum loops. We made 20 bass drums, 20 snares, 20 percussions and 15 hats. With single samples we made 25 processed drum loops. When creative sparks fly, you want to jump right into an idea, and these loops are perfect for that.
Finally, we have created 25 MIDI loops. Music theory is something that most producers deal with, which is why we’ve put together 25 catchy and emotional chords, melodies and bass lines. All MIDI files are labeled for tempo and key to maximize workflow efficiency.
