Description:
The Amplified Instrument Processor is a complete set of instruments designed to create the perfect guitar, bass or keyboard sound.
Its power and versatility make it an excellent processor for almost any audio task. AIP can do wonders for vocals, acoustic instruments, pianos, group buses, and even the entire mix.
The AIP features a 4-band parametric equalizer based on German Klangfilm tube equalizers from the 1950s. This equalizer combines digital precision and flexibility with analog unpredictability.
The AIP VCA emulation is based on the classic dbx 202 VCA integrated circuit. This compressor is great for guitars, but smooth and musical enough to work with vocals.
There is another compressor in the AIP; it is designed to operate in selected frequency ranges below 600 Hz. Peel the underside of a puffing guitar, tame resonant bass notes, beat the roughness on vocals, or get the ringing out of a kick drum.
Overlapping and doubling can lead to an unpleasant increase in the range of presence. Dedicated notch filter eliminates annoying βwhineβ of 2 kHz electric guitars, sibilant vocals, excessive cymbal noise, squeaking fingers or pickup sounds on acoustic instruments.
Unlike many stereo expansion processors, this AIP algorithm distributes things throughout the soundstage without sacrificing center density. Wrap reverb and ambience around your audience, improve the movement and swing of the keyboard pads, and place paired guitar parts on opposite sides of the stage.
The RTA AIP shows the frequency response of your signal and all of your EQ curves and frequency-dependent gain reduction settings for quick and intuitive fine-tuning.
