Hexagonal shaped Simmons electronic drums were all over the place in countless recordings and concerts in the 80s, used by artists and bands such as Genesis, King Crimson, Jean Michel Jarre, Prince, Herbie Hancock, Pink Floyd, etc. The SDSV is a historical piece of equipment that found its way into the sound of the 80s and is still used as a secret weapon today.
