“Harmonica Essentials – Blues Licks” was developed to make professional-sounding harmonica playing accessible to all musicians. While this library is by no means exhaustive, it allows users to add color to their tracks using the harmonica. For this collection, we focused exclusively on the blues harp. We recorded both acoustic and electric harmonica in 8 keys and at 4 different tempos, featuring over 1,100 licks. Additionally, each key includes banks of effects to help fill the gaps between licks.
Each bank contains 6 licks for the I chord, 6 for the IV chord, and 6 for the V chord. We encourage you to combine different parts of these licks to create your own variations—for instance, by using the beginning of one lick and transitioning into the end of another.
We hope you enjoy “Harmonica Essentials – Blues Licks” and find it as useful as we have.
