• Description:
A detailed overview of the 11 instruments that make up the Native Instruments KOMPLETE 5 suite, including KONTAKT, REAKTOR, GUITAR RIG, and MASSIVE.
In the video course “Native Instruments 102: Complete NI KOMPLETE,” you’ll take a close look at the 11 instruments that make up the Native Instruments KOMPLETE 5 suite. For each instrument, you’ll be introduced to its user interface, including how to select and modify sounds. For more complex instruments, several lessons explore more advanced features that allow you to truly customize your sounds. You’ll be introduced to two KOMPLETE piano modules: AKOUSTIC PIANO (which models, several types of acoustic pianos) and ELEKTRIK PIANO (which models, several types of electric pianos). The next step is ABSYNTH, an excellent sound design tool, followed by B4 II, a B3 organ emulation, and PRO-53, a Prophet-5 emulation.
This video tutorial also includes overviews of the MASSIVE and FM8 soft synthesizers, BATTERY (a drum and percussion sampler), KONTAKT (a software sampler), REAKTOR (a sound designer), and GUITAR RIG (a virtual guitar rack).
Each section of this KOMPLETE course concludes with an exercise that uses a dedicated KOMPLETE instrument in combination with Native Instruments’ super-synth KORE. Exercises aimed at reviewing the material in the parallel section of the Native Instruments 101: Core NI KORE course
