Windows 11 is required for running Intel Alder Lake processors.
With V-Ray 7, using older drivers (less than 495.xx) on Ampere cards may lead to incorrect render results with RTX.

Description:
V-Ray is a powerful visualization tool aimed primarily at photo-realism.
It has its own cameras with similar parameters as real photo cameras.
It has its own light sources and material shaders.
It is one of the main plugins for architectural visualization. Many ready-made 3D models and materials are “sharpened” for V-ray, distributed in particular on this tracker.

 

 

Treatment procedure:

  1. A cure for the previous version of the plugin.

  2. Before installing this version, remove the medicine files from previous versions.

  3. When running the installer, select Advanced and select/opt out of telemetry (at your discretion)

  4. Choose to install the plugin for all users or for the current one

  5. Do not install the license server (select “Remote option”).

  6. vray_71000_fix.dlr copy to :
    C:\Program Files\Autodesk\3ds Max 20**\plugins\

  7. vray_71000_max_fix.dll copy to :

for 3ds max 2021 to C:\Program Files\Chaos Group\V-Ray\3ds Max 2021\bin\plugins\

for 3ds max 2022-2026 depending on the previously selected
%ALLUSERSPROFILE%\Autodesk\ApplicationPlugins\VRay3dsMax202*\bin\plugins
