Baritone Guitar Washes is a cinematic Kontakt pad instrument designed as a powerful engine for detailed sound creation. Its unique, versatile Washes sound engine creates beautiful ambient wash-ins, pads, plucks and stabs based on recordings of an electric baritone guitar with an aluminum neck custom-made for legendary Italian ambient composer Eraldo Bernocchi (Sigillum S, Obake, Simm, Harold Budd, Bill Laswell). The instrument’s deep resonance and incredible sustain make it ideal for creating sustained pads and other ambient sounds.
The Washes engine contains three layers: Body , Grit and Air . Each has a specific function and sonic characteristics. There are also detailed effect controls and an Edge control , which is connected to the modulation wheel by default for additional saturation and spectrum shaping to add more imperfection and presence.
