Description : Stylistically, Splice Originals: Elegant Strings takes an intimate pop approach, incorporating elements of baroque vocals and classical figures – all set against a backdrop of contemporary pop harmonies . A home quarantine set, it was recorded in a New Hampshire farm studio by violinist and violist Josh Henderson and cellist Julia Henderson. You will find four-part harmonic string arrangements with two violins, one viola and one cello part each. Each voice was overdubbed three timesfor most of the sound. While these arrangements are elegant in nature with a classical feel, the R&B and soul overtones present in the harmonies lend themselves well to contemporary productions such as trap, pop, R&B and soul.
