Format: WAV
Quality: 24 bit 44.1 kHz stereo

Description: A project of singer-songwriter Jean-Philip Grobler, Brooklyn-based Saint Lucia creates shimmery, 80s-influenced synth-pop music. On the 2013 album When the Night, Grobler embodied the inspiration of his youth with more modern elements, including tropical pop. Saint Lucia’s music has grown even more inspirational and hymn with releases like 2018’s Hyperion, which incorporate elements as vast as gospel choir and 90s pop.
All sounds in this package were recorded or sampled personally by Grobler and either recorded in session for something that never made it to the St. Lucia album, or for future recording. He said, “I decided to sample the 808, CR78 and Oberheim DX because I have never seen samples of these 96k machines, which I usually work on, and the guy I share the studio with owns these drum machines, so this it was also a good way to catalog these things when I travel. ”
Consider this pack as Saint Lucia’s personal inspiration and beginner’s library for you to use in your next 80s electro, synth wave, or pop style.
