Installation :
Some antivirus programs remove the Nexus3.4.4.dll file. Disable antivirus (or add this file to the exceptions)
1. Mount the Nexus 3 Installation Files.iso image
2. Find the Copy to folder Nexus Content in the mounted image , open it and copy the Presets folder . Go to the path where you saved the files from this distribution, namely to the reFX Nexus 3 folder and in it to the Nexus Content and paste the copied Presets folder
3. Find the Copy to DISK C folder in the image and copy the Users folder from it and paste it into the root of Disk C (open Disk C and paste the Users folder into this location)
4. Also from the Copy to DISK folder, copy the VST folder to the folder where your plugins are stored. For example C: Program Files Steinberg VSTPlugins
5. Go to the path C: Users Public Documents reFX nexus (aka Drive C: Users General Shared Documents reFX nexus) and open the settings.json file with notepad
6. Find the line “library_folder”: “E: \ reFX Nexus 3 \ Nexus Content”, and change this path E: \ reFX Nexus 3 \ Nexus Content to your own to the Nexus Content folder. Please note that the path uses two characters \ and then save the changes in this file

Replace in the folder structure under the cursor | identical files with hard links

By applying this thing, duplicates will be deleted, only one of the group will remain, and HARD LINKS will be created in the places of the deleted files, referring to the remaining “living twins”.
Moreover, the names of Hard Links will correspond to the names of the distant twins. NEXUS hard links are easy to swallow.
i did the exact steps in order and it says my nexus library couldn’t be found, and to use the reFx cloud app to install them. please help

Your path needs to be like this “library_folder”: “E:\\program files\\reFX Nexus 3\\Nexus Content”, you have to have \\ after each folder

Yea I got Nexus running in FL but it can’t find my presets. I’m trying to figure out what I need to put in the notepad. I put the presets/Nexus content in an external drive so maybe that’s how I fucked up?
To install ReFX – Nexus 3.4.4 Complete (VSTi) [WiN x64]
1) Mount the Nexus 3 installation “Nexus 3 Installation Files.iso”
2) After mounting the iso installer copy the “reFX” folder, for eg: “F:\Copy to DISK C\Users\Public\Document\reFX” & paste it in “C:\Users\Public\Documents”.
3) In “C:\Users\Public\Documents\reFX\nexus” you will find a setting.json file, open with notepad, edit & add the location where your Nexus Content is located at “library_folder”: “E: \\ reFX Nexus 3 \\ Nexus Content” to
“library_folder”: “D:\\Music Database\\SoundBanks & Presets\\reFX Nexus 3\\Nexus Content” & save the file, Don’t forget to add \\ on your specfied path location.
4) In “F:\Copy to DISK C\VST” copy the contains in the VST folder and paste it where all your Vst are located at. For eg: “C:\Program Files\VSTPlugins”.
5) In “F:\Copy to folder Nexus Content\Presets” copy the Presets folder & paste it inside where you stored the reFX Nexus 3\Nexus Content, for eg: “D:\Music Database\SoundBanks & Presets\reFX Nexus 3\Nexus Content”.

Works pretty well apart from a huge selection of the sample packs saying they are not installed even though they are listed as installed.

I got everything to work after a while. Only thing now is that the tunes seems to glitch and it’s not my computer that make it since I got very overpowered prestanda.
I used this once before, then I had to reset my pc. Now trying to install it again, the same exact way, it wont work. It says I need to activate it. What the fuck man? How do I fix this? I dropped the regkey in with the vst… am I missing a step?
