Description : GG Audio has announced the release of Spin, an incredibly detailed simulation of several classic rotary speakers. Spin includes the Leslie 122 and 147, a regular high power model and the famous Yamaha RA200.

When your sound passes through a rotary speaker, something magical happens and nothing like it.

If you prefer a tone with some overdrive, Spin will come in handy. 3 separate simulations of a classic 40-watt amp contained in a 122/147 rotary speaker gives you everything from a little warm, to something crunchy, and all the way to the well-known “hot eggs”. Why 3 versions? Because different sets of lamps result in slightly different characteristics. We arranged them in order of increasing advantage. We’ve also included a High Gain setting that emulates the famous British guitar amp, prized for its amplification and distortion style, more suited to the Steppenwolf and Jon Lord sound types.

Spin comes with a great simulation of the classic 122 and 147 rotary speakers, but we’ve taken it a step further with a custom “high power” version that simulates a rotating cabinet that was previously only available to professionals. Although it is very similar to the classic, it has its own sound.

For something a little out of the ordinary, check out the RA200 cabinet. Based on a rare cabinet, this is a unique rotary speaker with 3 rotating tweeters and 2-15″ woofers. Spin also features a simulated British guitar amp cabinet with 4 – 12″ speakers.

Every engineer has their own special way of picking up sound from a rotator, and Spin has it all. Close the microphone for intense and pulsating sound, or for something smoother. Move them farther away for a dreamy stereo distribution, or set them close together for a mono output. Place the mics at the front of the cabinet for a smooth tone, or at the back of the cabinet for a little more presence. Spin also allows you to choose between dynamic and condenser microphones.

Peculiarities:
Classic 122, 147 and “high power” styling.
RA200 cabinet emulation (Pink Floyd fans will rejoice!)
Modeling the cabinet of a British guitar amp.
Reverb with room dimensions and Pre&Post modes.
4 microphones including choice of capacitors.
Fully adjustable rotation speed, acceleration and deceleration.
Turning on/off the diffuser of the rotor.
3-band equalizer.
Displaying the MIDI controller.
Low CPU usage.
4 wood finishes.
